2009-2010 Program Staff

Miss Tonya:
Tonya is a USA Gymnastics member and is certified by USA Gymnastics. She also attended 2002 Dance Masters of America Teacher Training Program at Buffalo University, NY, and is a member of Professional Dance Teachers Association. She had the opportunity to choreograph for Pleasant Valley High School's production of "Bye Bye Birdie". Miss Tonya is a graduate of En Avant School of Dance and Saucon Valley High School. She has an Associate Degree in Dental Hygiene from Northampton Community College. Tonya joined our staff in 1998 and is loved by her students greatly. Tonya oversees many of the events held here at En Avant as well as the Performing Company. She recently received the "Dare to Be Different" choreography award from the Ultimate Dance Competition.

Miss Megan:
Megan is a 2004 Graduate from De Sales University with a B.A. in Dance and a member of XTE National Dance Honor Society. Megan is also a Post Graduate of Dance Masters of America's Teacher Training School. Welcome, Megan!

Miss Sara
Miss Sara joined En Avant in 2008 when she moved to the Lehigh Valley after living and dancing in France for two years. She received her dance training in the Atlanta, Georgia area and danced with the Celebration Dance Company in the Senior Company for six years. She is also trained in ballroom dance and has competed in the latin sector, receiving gold medals for Cha-Cha and Rumba. She has a B.A. from Kennesaw State University in Communications and is a new mom of baby Gabriel.
