2006-2007 Fall Program Staff

Miss Amy:
Graduate of En Avant School of Dance, Former Head Majorette for Liberty High School, and member of the Highland dancers. A competitive dancer for many years, Miss Amy was a Semi-finalist for the Pennsylvania's Governors School for the Arts. Amy earned a Bachelors Degree with a major in Education and minor in Dance from Kutztown University. Miss Amy is a patient teacher who loves working with children. In addition to teaching dance she is also an elementary school teacher.

Miss Becky:
Graduate of En Avant School of Dance and Emmaus High School. Miss Becky was a student of Miss Angela's for over 10 years, danced for 14 years, and was a member of our award winning Performing Company/Competition Team since 1997. She was a student assistant for 6 years; student teacher/substitute for 2 years; and became a member of our teaching staff and office staff in 2005. Miss Becky attends Cedar Crest College, majors in Mathematics, and has also received a performing arts scholarship.

Miss Tonya:
USA Gymnastics member, USA Gymnastics safety certified, attended 2002 Dance Masters of America Teacher Training Program at Buffalo University, NY, a member of Professional Dance Teachers Association. Recently she choreographed for Pleasant Valley High School's production of "Bye Bye Birdie". Miss Tonya is a graduate of En Avant School of Dance and Saucon Valley high school. She has an Associate Degree in Dental Hygiene from Northampton Community College. Tonya joined our staff in 1998 and is loved by her students greatly. Tonya oversees many of the events held here at En Avant as well as the Performing Company. She recently received the "Dare to Be Different" choreography award from the Ultimate Dance Competition.

Miss Sarah:
Graduated with highest honors from Lehigh University with a Bachelor' of Arts Degree in Psychology and minor in Social Psychology. Sara received the presidential scholarship, is a member of Psi Chi National Honor Society in Psychology and made the deans list for all semesters. Sarah's love of dance is apparent while teaching her students to express their creativity and feelings in their movements. Sarah has studied with Purcahase Dance Conservatory; American Ballet Theatre; and American Academy of Ballet just to name a few.

Miss Shanna:
Former member of Kutztown University Dance Team. Miss Shanna graduated from Kutztown University with a Degree in Elementary Education. Miss Shanna's enthusiasm for kids is well known as you may see her substituting for various elementary schools in the Lehigh Valley in addition to teaching many dance classes.

Miss Megan:
We are excited to add new to our staff this year Miss Megan. Megan is a 2004 Graduate from De Sales University with a B.A. in Dance and a member of XTE National Dance Honor Society. Miss Megan is also a Post Graduate of Dance Masters of America's Teacher Training School. Welcome Miss Megan.
